Marketplace Management

A marketplace gives you ready-made traffic and takes your margin and customer relationship in return. Set up right, it's the fastest growth channel; set up wrong, it becomes your own store's competitor.

Who this service is for

  • «We sell on marketplaces, but there's no profit left.»When commission, shipping, returns and ads aren't calculated together, marketplace revenue grows without profit.
  • «Our own site competes with the marketplace.»If two channels sell the same product at the same price, the one with ready-made traffic wins. Channel separation can be designed.
  • «Our products fall behind in the listings.»Marketplace ranking is largely a matter of listing quality, sales velocity and ratings; ads come on top of that.

What's included

01Store and catalog setup

Product listing, variant structure, category and attribute accuracy.

02Listing quality

Titles, images, descriptions and attributes. The single biggest lever for ranking and conversion.

04Marketplace ads

On-platform ad setup and budget management.

05Channel conflict management

A product and price split so your own store and the marketplace don't cannibalize each other.

06Operations and ratings

Dispatch time, cancellation rate, returns and store rating — the items that directly affect ranking.

How we work

Calculation

Real margin

What's left per product once commission, shipping, returns and ads are deducted. This shows which products belong on marketplaces.

Listing

Visibility

Titles, images and attributes are built around the category's search logic.

Maintenance

Weekly rhythm

Price, stock, ads and ratings are reviewed weekly. A channel that slides back the moment it's left alone.

A marketplace wins customers for itself, not for you. If you don't have a path to turn orders from there into your own customers, you're a tenant.

Frequently asked questions

Will joining marketplaces hurt our brand?

It can, and it depends on the setup. A brand that sells the same product at the same price with the same visuals everywhere turns into a price list on marketplaces. Channel separation — different packaging, different bundles, different product groups — prevents that. We don't recommend entering without a plan.

Do you run operations too?

Picking, packing and shipping stay with you; we manage the channel: listings, pricing, ads, ratings and integration. We don't take over warehouse operations, but we make that work lighter through integration.

Which marketplace should we start with?

We look at where the volume is in your category; usually it's better to become stable on one marketplace than to enter three at once and hit your ratings on none. We write down the order, with the reasoning.

Take it on its own, or as part of a partnership.

Marketplace Management can also be done as a standalone project: clear scope, clear timeline, no 12-month commitment. In a full partnership, it runs alongside the other work your brand needs, handled by the same team. We decide together on the discovery call which suits you.
