Shopify Store Setup

Shopify's strength is its ecosystem: unrivaled for apps, multi-language setups and international selling. Its weakness is that this ecosystem can grow unchecked and slow the store down — we strike that balance.

Who this service is for

  • «We sell internationally too.»For multi-language, multi-currency and multi-market setups, Shopify's infrastructure is still the most mature.
  • «Our store is slow, and the number of apps has got out of hand.»Every app adds code to the page. In a store with fifteen apps, that's almost always the source of the speed loss.
  • «We have a custom purchase flow.»For needs like subscriptions, bundles, pre-orders and B2B pricing, Shopify's flexibility becomes decisive.

What's included

01Setup and migration

Setup from scratch, or migrating products, customers and order history from your existing store.

02Theme development

Custom sections on a ready-made theme, or a theme built from scratch. We discuss the cost difference between the two first.

03Speed and Core Web Vitals

App audit, code cleanup, image optimization. Speed is measured continuously, not once.

04App architecture

Which need is solved with an app and which with code. Every app is both a monthly fee and a speed cost.

05Integrations

Shipping, payments, ERP, accounting and marketplace connections.

06Multi-language / multi-market structure

Markets, currency, tax and language setup — from day one if you sell internationally.

How we work

Architecture

Page flow

The sales logic of collection, product and campaign pages is first worked out on paper.

Production

Design and development

An interface true to the brand's karat is designed and developed against speed targets; every section stays editable from the admin.

Publishing

With measurement

It goes live with analytics and conversion tracking in place; a rollback plan is kept ready.

The app store isn't a store of solutions; it's a store of costs. Every app you add puts a few hundred milliseconds on top of the monthly fee.

What we measure

SpeedLCP — first meaningful load

Target: under 2.5 seconds on mobile.

ConversionMobile conversion rate

Most traffic comes from mobile; the desktop average hides that fact.

FlowCart → checkout

How many of those who add to cart move on to checkout.

WorkloadNumber of active apps

How many apps are actually used. Every unused app is a double cost.

What you get

  • Launch-ready storeMeasurement, payments and shipping connected; verified with test orders.
  • Theme source filesThe code stays with you. When the partnership ends, both the store and the theme are yours.
  • App audit reportWhat each app does, what it costs per month and what it costs in speed.
  • Speed measurement reportBefore-and-after launch comparison.

Which tools we use

Every account is opened in your name and the licenses are yours. When we part ways, the tools and the data stay where they are.

Frequently asked questions

Do we keep our current theme?

If the theme is in good shape, we build on it; if it's fundamentally flawed, we recommend replacing it and explain why. Changing a working setup just for the sake of something new is gambling with conversion you've already earned.

Do sales stop while the site is being rebuilt?

No. Development runs on a separate copy and goes live in one go, at a low-traffic hour. A rollback plan is kept ready — if something goes wrong, it's back to the previous state within minutes.

Does Shopify handle local invoicing and payment methods?

It's handled through apps and middleware, but not always as frictionlessly as on a local platform. If you sell mainly in one domestic market with specific invoicing or payment requirements, we put local platforms on the table too; we make the decision together, based on your needs.

Take it on its own, or as part of a partnership.

Shopify Store Setup can also be done as a standalone project: clear scope, clear timeline, no 12-month commitment. In a full partnership, it runs alongside the other work your brand needs, handled by the same team. We decide together on the discovery call which suits you.
