Payments & Checkout
If customers get as far as the cart and give up at checkout, the problem isn't the product, it's that final screen. The right provider, the right payment options and a smooth 3D Secure flow — this is the easiest part of the sale to win back.

Who this service is for
- «Lots of people add to cart, few complete checkout.»Abandonment at checkout very often comes from a 3D Secure error, a missing payment option or a final screen that doesn't inspire trust.
- «We don't know whether we're overpaying on fees.»When fees, payout times and installment costs aren't read together, the provider that looks cheapest can end up the most expensive.
- «We can't offer pay-later; our competitor does.»As basket sizes grow, flexible payment becomes as decisive as the price itself.

How we work
Putting the terms in writing
Fees, payout times, installments and integration support in one table. The decision is given in writing, with its reasoning.
End-to-end testing
Successful payment, failed 3D Secure, partial refund, installment refund: everything is tested before going live.
Watching the final screen
Error and abandonment rates are read every month; if a provider deteriorates, the switch to the backup is ready.
The checkout page is the least designed screen on a site — and the one that loses the most money.
What we measure
The share of people who move from cart to checkout but don't complete the order.
The error rate coming back from banks. The first number checked when switching providers.
How installments and pay-later affect average basket size and conversion.
The real cost, calculating fees, installment costs and payout delays together.

Frequently asked questions
Which payment provider should we choose?
There's no single right answer; fees, payout times, installment and pay-later terms and compatibility with your platform are weighed together. We have no fixed preference and take no commission from providers — we give you the comparison in writing, based on your revenue and basket structure. For most brands we recommend one main provider and one backup.
Whose name are the payment accounts opened in?
Yours. Merchant and payment accounts are opened in your company's name, and the contract is between you and the provider. We prepare the application and handle setup and testing; when we part ways, your payment setup keeps working as if nothing happened.
Is switching our current provider risky?
If it's not done right, yes. The new provider is first set up in parallel and tested, the switch happens on a low-traffic day, and the old account stays open for a while — so refunds and chargebacks can still close through the old provider.

The end of de minimis: what the US and EU changes mean for DTC brands
For years, small parcels crossed borders with little or no duty. The United States ended that in August 2025, and since July 2026 the EU charges a €3 duty per item category on low-value parcels. Who loses, who gains, and what to change now.

Roughly seven in ten carts never become orders. Some of that is window shopping, but a large part is caused by the checkout itself. The reasons shoppers give, and a practical order in which to fix them.

Payments & Checkout can also be done as a standalone project: clear scope, clear timeline, no 12-month commitment. In a full partnership, it runs alongside the other work your brand needs, handled by the same team. We decide together on the discovery call which suits you.
